Clematis Needle Book

This project was made for my video presentation to the Australian Sewing Guild’s Spring Sewing Celebration. This useful needle book was made to showcase different ways of using English paper pieced hexagons.
The front cover features a large fussy cut hexagon rosette, while the back cover is cut from a rectangle of pieced hexagons. Inside there are lots of pocket options and two wool felt pages for needles and pins. All is embellished with detailed hand quilting using Perle 8 thread.
There are three options to receive the comprehensive pattern:
As an instant downloadable PDF file;
As a printed copy with the paper shapes required
Or as a printed copy with the paper shapes and a perspex fussy cutting template for the 1” hexagon shape.
Finished size is 7” x 8 1/2” (closed) and 8 1/2” x 13 1/2” (open)
