This lovely quilt design incorporates my favourite techniques of English Paper Piecing and hand applique. The centre medallion features a symmetrical pattern of bias strips inside a circle with contrasting piping. There is a border of “fussy cut” hedge shapes and a pieced rectangle border before a highly decorative border of heart shaped vines and flowers with hexagon medallion cornerstone blocks. My award winning sample was made in beautiful blue and brown, however, the pattern would look great in your favourite colour scheme.
The pattern includes comprehensive written instructions and full size pattern sheets. This pattern is also available as a instant downloadable PDF file which inclues detailed photographs. Please note hand drwan pattern sheets need to be printed “actual size”.
Finished size of quilt is 62″ square.
