Ric Rac Table Runner and hexagon Bag

These two projects are made from one packet of (40) 5” charm squares. The Table Runner is made from (24) charm squares set on point with side setting triangles. The top is very quickly constructed by machine, then layered with pellon and backing fabric. As you stitch the ric rac in place over the seam intersections, the Runner is quilted, making this a very quick yet effective project.  The leftover charm squares are used to make the pretty bag with a hexagonal shaped base. The outside of the bag, the inside pocket and handle are all embellished with ric rac. Finished Size of Runner is 19” x 39” and the bag is 9” high with a circumference of 27”
