Papillon Pouch

This gorgeous fold over pouch features a magnificent butterfly on the front cover, appliqued in wool felt and embellished with hand embroidery and quilting. Inside the pouch there are a number of handy pockets and pretty embellishments.

There is a needle keeper section, a pocket for a small ruler, a larger pocket for accessories, a pen loop and a zipper pocket compartment to store tools and work in progress.

The comprehensive instructions include very detailed instructions of the wool felt applique techniques.  There are two pattern sheets with the applique shapes already traced out and detailed diagrams of the applique construction and the hand embroidery stitches.  The typed notes also include diagrams to help explain the construction of the pouch.
