Jelly Nation Quilt Pattern

This beautiful machine pieced quilt design uses one “jelly roll” of 40 precut 2 1/2″ strips (plus two extra fabrics) to create Carrie Nation quilt blocks. Quick strip piecing and cross cutting techniques are explained in detail. The blocks can be arranged in several orientations to create different secondary patterns. The quilt blocks are surrounded by a thin border of red, and then alternating borders of cream and checkerboard squares made from the remaining jelly roll strips. The finished quilt size is 70″ square. However, an extra border can be added to make a Queen bed sized quilt.
