Original Quilt Designs
$14.00 – $15.50
This quilt is the result of a challenge given to me by my dear friend Julie: “make a sampler quilt from a jelly roll”. The quilt consists of thirteen different machine pieced blocks cut from jelly roll strips and a background fabric. The blocks are set on point with detailed sashing strips and pieced side setting triangles. Further beautiful details are added with multiple borders of different accent colours and checkerboard squares cut from the jelly roll. A fun, interesting quilt challenge. The comprehensive written pattern contains many tips for cutting, piecing and pressing as well as detailed block diagrams.
The finished size of the quilt is 78″ square.
Please Note: this quilt pattern requires the use of a ruler to cut half square triangle and flying geese units from strips eg. the “Easy Angle” and “Companion Angle” rulers by EZ Quilting or the Multi-Size 45/90 degree triangle ruler by Creative Grids. These rulers are readily available.
