The design for this densely appliquéd cushion was inspired by an antique Ottoman tent appliqué now housed in a Museum in Dresden, Germany. The soft tone on tone shades of cream, taupe, yellow, green, blue and grey contrast beautifully with the rich red background. The comprehensive pattern contains full detailed descriptions of all the techniques used and a full sized pattern of all the appliqué and quilting motifs. The printed pattern includes a packet of laser cut paper templates for the repeat shapes of leaves, petals and circles. Some additional templates need to be traced from the pattern sheet. Finished size of cushion is 20” square.
