Barton Park

This is a very feminine quilt, featuring lots of beautiful applique flowers with added (optional) embroidery embellishments.

The centre of the quilt is a garland of flowers around a circular backdrop.  There are roses, tulips and a variety of pretty small flowers and leaves, plus a buzzing bee.  The centre block is bordered by a small floral border and then there are scallop sprays of more roses and little hexagon rosettes.

The next border features dramatic pumpkin seed motifs filled with hexagon petal flowers and embellished with circles.

The cornerstone blocks feature a gorgeous circular medallion of tulips with bees and butterflies.  The final applique border contains panels of a large dresden flower with scalloped vines of leaves and pentagon flowers.  These panels are separated by pretty circle squares.  The whole quilt is bordered with a sumptuous floral border.

The printed instructions of 17 typewritten pages include very detailed notes of all techniques involved.  There are 5 A3 pattern sheets.  The kit of papers gives you all the EPP and circle shapes required to make the whole quilt including perspex window fussy cutting templates.
