A Daisy A Day Table Runner

This is a lovely rectangular table runner which could be made in many different colour combinations to coordinate with your home decor. The runner features fused appliqué which has been machine stitched in button hole stitch.  You could adapt the pattern and buttonhole stitch by hand. The appliqué flowers and scrolls are enhanced with simple machine piecing and a pretty border fabric.

I have made this runner in two different colour ways: the fresh Tilda range called “A Pie in the Sky” features machine applique and hand quilting on a white background.  My earlier sample in rich traditional colours on a rich cream background was machine quilted. I hope you enjoy making this lovely runner using your favourite fabrics.
