Birdsong Bag Pattern

This beautiful bag features a delightful applique panel worked in wool felt and embroidery. The circular panel is surrounded by ric rac for a touch of whimsy. The reverse side of the bag is strip pieced with an assortment of pretty fabrics and embellished with more ric rac and hand quilting. The interior has a large pocket and the handles are long. The top of the bag has a button and loop closure.
The applique design could be added to alternative projects such as a cushion or quilt centre. Other options include using the design for an embroidered stitchery rather than using the wool felt. Options for this pattern include a downloadable PDF file, a printed pattern mailed to you or a printed pattern with small pieces of the required felt in 12 different colours.
Finished size of the bag is 14” x 12” x 2 1/2”
