The Way Ahead Quilt

This is a spectacular quilt which looks amazing in all colours and styles of fabric. There are two different compass blocks, one with twelve points and one with eight points and small darts. The centre block is surrounded by sunray points in a circle while the other eight blocks are surrounded by circular flying geese, half turning clockwise and half turning anticlockwise. Panels of graduating cream flying geese add interest to the block setting.
The quilt is completely machine pieced using paper foundation piecing techniques. The construction of the quilt is explained in minute detail, guiding you every step of the way. All of the pattern sheets are included, you just need to photocopy the required number of copies.
The finished size of the quilt is 80” square and it can be made larger to accommodate a large bed by the addition of an extra border or two.
