Ruby Red Bag

This very pretty bag features a lattice of English paper pieced octagons and squares appliqued to a deep burgundy fabric and hand quilted. The same shapes embellish the back panel and the pocket of the bag.
My sample was made in Tilda’s “Village Life” range of fabric.
The comprehensive pattern includes very detailed descriptions of every process used in the construction of this beautiful bag. These include how to create the English paper pieced lattice on the front of the bag and details on how to make the pocket and the handles.
This pattern is available in downloadable PDF or printed form and can be ordered to include the fussy cutting templates and the laser cut paper shapes for the octagons and squares.
