This large bed sized medallion quilt is the second quilt I made in my Jane Austen Quilt Collection.
The quilt, inspired by antique English frame quilts, is a beautiful combination of English paper piecing, hand applique and machine pieced borders.
It is a dramatic, fun quilt to make and looks great in any colour scheme. My quilt was created from one reproduction range of muted reds, browns, greens and greys. The quilt also looks amazing in modern brights or vintage florals.
The extremely detailed pattern takes you through step by step every aspect of the construction of the quilt, including guidance on fabric requirements and how to make sure your borders fit together in a medallion format. All aspects of English paper piecing, hand appliqué and machine piecing are described and the pattern sheets are full size.
The optional template set includes over 700 laser cut paper shapes and (8) Perspex fussy cutting window templates.
