Merry and Bright Bed Runner

This gorgeous bed runner features five lovely star blocks surrounded by a soft green border, a checkerboard of squares and another green border.
My sample has been made from the lovely Tilda “Merry Little Christmas” and “Eve and Noel” blender ranges. I have fussy cut some Christmas motifs in the centre of the star blocks, contrasting with the rich red and soft florals of the flying geese units. Of course you can make your runner in the fabric of your choice for a very different look.
The bed runner is designed to sit along the foot of a Queen or King sized bed. Adjustments can easily be made to shorten the runner by including fewer blocks or by omitting the last two borders to create a suitable size runner for the dining room table or a dresser.
My comprehensive pattern includes block and runner layout diagrams with pressing directions, accurate cutting instructions and quick machine piecing techniques, making this an achievable project even for beginners.
Finished Size is 24” x 80”.
