Here is a very pretty large bag to take shopping or to class with all your project requirements.
The front of the bag features a gorgeous bouquet of applique flowers of various shapes and sizes. I have fussy cut lots of lovely motifs from a variety of fabrics in pinks and blues to create beautiful EPP flowers.
The back panel of the bag includes three more lovely applique EPP flowers and rectangles cut from a stunning floral and bird print called Milkwood.
The side panels of the bag include large pockets which will carry a 6 1/2” x 12 1/2” ruler and other tools. The inside lining of the bag also includes a roomy pocket.
All of the applique and different sections of the bag have been embellished with hand quilting using Perle 8 thread. You could also quilt the bag by machine.
The comprehensive instructions detail every step of applique, construction and finishing of this gorgeous bag.
The whole of the bag is padded with fusible wadding. Some of the inside lining panels and the bag base have also been lined using a Soft and Stable padding to create a more solid bag. This is optional, depending on the finish you require.
